30 ROCK

planettampon:

Can Liz have a proper love interest now, please? Like, that guy from Mad Men last season was… a waste of time. Remember Floyd? Sigh… Floyd. I WANNA BE THAT BOYF. That man was a dreamboat. And Jamie? I’M GAY FOR JAMIE. It seems that the show is better when Liz is properly in love? Now it’s just… Alec Baldwin talking in a husky voice and Jenna Maroney thinking she’s all that, whole grain, low fat. WHICH IS GOOD, but, like, come on. Liz, she’s stealing your show. And as much as I believe Jenna »» Liz, it’s… annoying. You’re not even trying. SO, 30 ROCK, WHA HAPPEN? This season is already making me… -_- and that’s bad.

I haven’t seen the new season yet but fuck you now I probably won’t even bother.

roflmao @ Windows 7 Ads.

cuntspasm:

I know nothing of Windows 7 I’d just like to point out. I have bothered looking it up because my experience with windows has always been shit, and I only just bought my current Mac laptop..so no point. I was more laughing at the advertising of Windows.

I’m glad they’re looking at the issues in Vista. They backtracked from XP. XP was good and Vista came in and just…blergh. If you were saying I follow a brand [mac] blindly, I don’t. My Windows using history far outweighs my Mac using, and Mac has become my preference because I find its far easier to use. If Windows gets things right, I won’t go “ZOMG BUT MAC DID IT SO MUCH BETTER”, I would applaud them getting it right.

I was laughing at their advertising because all it does it make me think of the Mac adverts. Uncreative and unoriginal advertising is never good for a brand. Further, advertising that makes your mind thing of your competing brand can’t be good.

I did not mean to come off as if I was blindly following a brand, nor smug about it. I was simply laughing at my point stated in the above paragraph.

Here are the ads, if people are interested.

I agree with Gizmodo, for my part. And the 7 Second Demos are a great idea/not one that immediately made me think of Macs. Do you think that maybe given your own recent software habits you may simply be thinking of them of your own accord? Because the W7 ads don’t really do anything to force the comparison. For starters, there’s no white backgrounds. No direct comparison between Macs & PCs. And moreover, Windows is pushing itself as the family-oriented, easy-to-use OS whereas Macs are pushed as being for more savvy users. I fail to see where and how you found a link between the two.
