Big Star - September Gurls.

You know how Big Star are one of those bands that everyone says are great, but nobody really listens to? I dunno about the rest of you, but I’ve had #1 Record and Radio City for multiple years now and it’s taken me until this week to really get into them.

I’m not going to say “worth the effort” or any bullshit line like that, but they are a pretty sweet band. If you listened to them once and decided they were good but not great, it’s probably worth re-evaluating. Thirteen is pretty fucking swish, also it proves that Fountains of Wayne ripped off two bands when they wrote Stacy’s Mom.
