Man, the kick drum in this song just fucking pounds. It probably helps that Niki (not this Niki) absolutely nails the vocals & that the synth in the chorus is similarly bracing. Man, I’m so pumped right now. This is why.

I’ve recently started doing Technical Support at work, and one call I had today ended up taking 90 minutes. (Later on I would discover that’s close to a record for a TS call. I’m awesome) I gave the 73 year-old woman my extension in case she needed to call back, which she did three times during the course of the day. The thing is though, I have no qualms talking to her because who honestly expects a 73 year-old to know what they’re doing with computers?

What I do take issue with is the way our call centre handles these sorts of customers. I spoke to her twice today, the other two times the calls were handled by other people. One just directed her to the store of original purchase, and another got so annoyed while setting up her Hotmail account that she simply did it herself and gave the woman the password. (Fun fact: she didn’t even ask the woman what email address she wanted, instead just making one up for her)

What the fuck, place of employment? I get shitty with a lot of people for a lot of things. But never because they simply don’t understand something. It’s not like she was actively trying to be difficult. She just didn’t understand. Fucking hell. Anyway, today I was also given the ability to assess calls and give feedback to the agents. Guess which department’s getting slammed.
